Congratulations to our 2024 scholarship winner, Charlise Petersen, from New Bern High School. This $2500 scholarship is open to all high school seniors who meet the application criteria. The scholarship is awarded based on the candidate’s character, scholastic records, evidence of intellectual promise, demonstration of ambition, leadership ability, and need for financial assistance. Charlise will be attending UNC Greensboro, plans to major in Biology, and hopes to become a genetic counselor. Maliyah Hill is our second $2500 high school scholarship winner for 2024. She graduated from Havelock High School and plans to major in elementary education and minor in speech pathology at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro. Congratulations to our 2024 “Launch Fund” Scholarship recipient, Keshay M. She has been a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain – New Bern Teen Center since 2017 and is a graduate of Class of 2024 at New Bern High School.
