Holly and Ivy FAQs

Where is the event located?

The Holly and The Ivy Holiday Homes Tour takes place in Historic District and in New Bern.  This year, Holly and Ivy will be featuring the “Magnolia Manor 1843" as our special “Sugar Plum Treats House”, where homemade cookies will be served.

How do you purchase tickets?

Online ticket sales through PayPal will start on Saturday, November 1st.  Tickets purchased through PayPal will have a convenience fee, so the cost is $16.10 per ticket. The PayPal tickets are “Will Call” pick-up in person only on the day of the event, December 13th from 9:30am – 1:00pm at the First Presbyterian Session House, 400 New Street, New Bern. Please bring a copy of your PayPal receipt or your ID.

ATTENTION: While the PayPal app gives a default option offering tickets to be mailed, the New Bern Woman’s Club does not have the ability to support this option. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience.

Local paper ticket sales start on November 10th, which are $15.00 per ticket, at the New Bern Harris Teeter stores (Carolina Colours and MLK Drive), Mitchell Hardware and BrewH2ouse.

Is there a rain date for the event?

There is no rain date for this event.

Is parking available?

There is street parking available and several free all-day lots. For additional information go to: https://www.newbernnc.gov/parking/.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable.  Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the New Bern Woman’s Club Scholarship Program and various local charities.

What is the attire for the event?

Wear weather appropriate outer wear and comfortable walking shoes. High heels are not allowed in any of the tour homes.

Is the tour appropriate for children?
For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, we kindly advise against bringing children or infants on this tour. Strollers are not permitted inside any of the venues, as they are private residences featuring personal decor and fragile items. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us preserve the integrity of these spaces.

What about food allergies?

The cookies at The Sugar Plum Treats House are homemade and may contain allergens.
